Executive Director

The Executive Director will oversee the overall management and the day-to-day operations of the Non Profit organization, including managing committees and staff and developing business plans in collaboration with the board for the future of the organization. The role of the executive director is to design, develop and implement strategic plans for the Non Profit, Home Solutions Institute, in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner. The board may from time to time offer suggestions and ideas about how to improve the organization, but the executive director decides whether or not, and how, to implement these ideas. The Executive Director will take a leadership role in everything that goes on in the organization. This includes staff, membership, budget, company assets, and all other company resources, to help make the best use of them, raise awareness of the organization, ensure service to the community and profitability.

Salary Range Commensurate with Experience


Director Grant Writing

Works with the Executive Director to identify, prepare and procure grant opportunities to support the organizational needs. Conducts ongoing research on home businesses, personal franchises, secondary data and community-based research, review research findings, compiles statistics, and assist with tracking of them for grant writing.

Requirements

  • Research and identify grant opportunities
  • Prepare and implement grant procurement timelines leading to successful grant applications
  • Design policies and procedures, guidelines for reporting, and grant evaluation processes necessary to track the execution of all successful grant contracts
  • Manage all grant contract report obligations to ensure timely and accurate submission of required reports.
  • Produce written, tabular and visual materials for internal and external reports and presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • The ability to cultivate and maintain relationships
  • Personal Franchise or extensive business experience a plus

Manger Fund-Raising

Manger of fund raising's responsinilites are to organize, manage, and direct the fund raising campaigns. The job will entail event planning, personal selling, and potentially a great deal of entertaining activities. This position is a critical and important marketing job for our non-profit organization.

Part time postion


Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the event ranging from initial planning to implementation of the event. Specifically, the Event coordinator must schedule the event, arrange the event location, and find sponsors of food, drink, finances, and door prizes. In addition, the event coordinator may be responsible for promotion of the event and be available to solve any last minute problems that arise in the implementation of the event.
